Evacuees say thanks for safe exit
Please accept our sincere appreciation for the safe, caring and professional evacuation of the residents of Legacy Campus in Bay City during the Hurricane Ike emergency. We visited the evacuation facilities in Beeville and were equally impressed with their staff's loving care. It took tremendous effort by all staff involved, and each performed wonderfully.

Congratulations Joanna Miller and Maria Dominguez!

Joanna Miller arrived at Hacienda Oaks March 9th 2012 after a left hip replacement in Corpus Christi. Upon arrival Mrs. Miller was unable to transfer herself or maintain activities of daily living without assistance. On May 4th 2012 Mrs. Miller was able to return home to her family walking independently! Great Job Mrs. Miller! Your hard work paid off!
Maria Dominguez arrived at Hacienda Oaks April 13th 2012 after a recent fall at home. Upon arrival she was unable to stand and was very weak. On May 5th 2012 Mrs. Dominguez was able to return home much stronger and transferring with minimal assistance! Nice Work!

Good Job Mr. English!
Raymond English arrived at Hacienda Oaks Nursing & Rehab Jan. 10th, 2012 after an above the knee amputation. Mr. English was very determined to regain his upper and lower body strength in order to learn to walk with a prosthetic leg. On Thursday April 19th, 2012 Mr. English was fitted for his prosthesis in San Antonio and was able to return home to his family much stronger. Congratulations Mr. English! We enjoyed having you in our Short Term Rehabilitation Program. Thank You for choosing Hacienda Oaks Nursing & Rehab for your rehabilitative needs!

Martha Walker arrived at Hacienda Oaks weak and unable to transfer or walk without assistance. With hard work Mrs. Walker was able to return home March 16,2012 transferring without assistance and walking with a walker with long endurance! Good Job! We are really going to miss you!
Doris McKinney arrived at Hacienda Oaks weak from a recent hospital stay and unable to transfer without assistance. On March 19th she was able to return home transferring independently and walking with longer endurance! Congratulations Mrs. McKinney! We wish you the best of luck!

Mr. Joe Alaniz is one of our Most Outstanding Success Stories Yet! Mr. Alaniz came to us from Christus Beeville after having an above the knee amputation. Mr Alaniz was determined to Walk out of here on Two legs! On Wednesday February 29th Mr Alaniz did just that! He was able to walk with his new prosthetic leg and a cane and returned home with minimal assistance. We are so proud of you Mr Alaniz and wish you the best of luck! You are an inspiration!
Mikey Gomez arrived at Hacienda Oaks after a cardiac stay at Christus Spohn Shoreline. After a lot of hard work Mikey was able to return home independently on Tuesday February 28th 2012. We enjoyed having Mr Gomez in our therapy program. We will miss you dearly!
