Hacienda Oaks Nursing & Rehab is committed to providing high quality care and improving the quality of life for our residents. As our residents, staff, families, leaders and community face uncertainty and daily questions surrounding the spread of COVID-19, our team understands the severity of the current situation. Hacienda Oaks continues to be at the forefront of this pandemic guiding the way for our residents to remain safe and “stay home.” We remain committed to following the orders mandated by our local, state, and national leaders in order to slow the spread of the virus.
We understand how difficult it is for our residents to remain in place in their rooms and even more difficult for them not to be able to enjoy their loved one’s presence. It is not easy to stay away, it is not easy for our residents to stay in their rooms, and it is not easy to practice social distancing as required during this time.
We wish to assure YOU that our team continues to be sympathetic to our patients needs and safety and we continue to look for innovative ways to serve our patients and remain compliant to the guidelines and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
Because of these strong initiatives, we have been able to keep our residents and staff safe.
We are pleased to report several of the new practices to keep our residents, partners, and staff safe:
- 14 day Isolation rooms for all new admits
- Practicing universal masking
- Following social distancing
- No visitation allowed
- All meals served in patient rooms
- Activities provided daily in patient rooms
As our community, state, and nation continue working from home, homeschooling, and minimizing contact with others as our new normal, we encourage YOU to do the same. We look forward to the day that we can return to visitors in our building, unmasked smiles, and hugs for our loved ones.
